Hi mum, I have dropped my phone down the loo, this is my new number. It sounds like her. It uses the name she uses. By the time anyone in the family hears about it, the money has gone, and she is too embarrassed to say how much.

How it works
Step one
A text, a WhatsApp, an email, or a picture of a letter. She sends it the way she would send a photo of the dog. There is nothing to log into and no form to fill in first.
Step two
What it is, who it is really from, whether there is a deadline, and what to do next. Written in plain words, with no jargon, and never a lecture.
Step three
Anything dangerous appears in your family feed the moment it happens. You never have to ring and ask whether anything has come. Nothing gets past the family again.

Do not reply, and do not send any money. Ring her on the number you already have for her, the one saved in your phone. A real daughter will not mind being checked.

The promise
What your family sends it stays your family’s business.
Plainly, so you can weigh it up: the reading is done by Anthropic’s Claude, on servers in the United States, under a written agreement with the safeguards UK law requires for sending data abroad. A fully private mode, where letters never leave Silverpost’s own machines, is on our roadmap. We will tell you the day it arrives, and not a day before. It is all set out in the privacy policy.
Everything she sends it, texts and emails as well as letters, is processed under a written contract with the artificial intelligence provider. It is never sold, it is never used to train it, and nobody keeps it but us. She can delete the lot whenever she likes, and if we cancel, it all goes with her.
